Vigilant Security Services is seeking a Business Development Manager to generate new business and support the company's growth.
We are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager who is able to generate their own leads and secure new business in London and the Home Counties. In return, you will receive a salary of €60,000–€65,000, dependent upon experience, plus a company car, business mileage fuel, laptop and iPhone, as well as generous commission on new business.
The role
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business for the company using any method possible. You must have tendering and bidding experience in the security industry. Through calls, door-to-door selling and the use of recognised sales tools, you will improve sales and help the company grow by working towards realistic targets.
It will also be your responsibility to find out when contracts are finishing and ensure they are renewed. This position operates from the London office, where you will be expected to work.
What you’ll need
- A quantifiable track record in sales in manned guarding and related services in the Republic of Ireland
- Ideally, experience and knowledge in the security industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A full driving licence, as travel is required
- The ability to deal with all levels of client relationships
- At minimum, a non-front-line SIA licence, or the ability to obtain such a licence
